5446ce1dc7051The TV season is in full swing! And there has NEVER been more amazing superhero and comic book adapted TV shows! From Gotham to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to Arrow, we have just been bombarded with tons of heroes on TV. But there are probably some people out there looking for some great trades and graphic novels to pick up to enhance their TV watching experience (not to mention, catch all of those easter eggs that come up in every show! Oh, yes...there have been many!). Not to worry, The Bleeder King's gotcha covered. I've comprised a list of the most important trades from each show that you really should have on your shelf (if you don't already)! Let's get started on a fairly recent miniseries that shed a dark light on the early career of one of Batman's greatest foes. sound familiar?! Read more...

adrienne-palicki-mockingbird-agents-of-shieldGet ready for another exciting week of comic book TV! This week we have  The Flash getting a bad case of gas (no really!), Team Arrow travelling to Corto Maltese in search of Thea Queen (or is it Merlyn now?), and the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of Bobbi Morse, Mockingbird (portrayed by "almost Wonder Woman" Adrianne Palicki)! but why is she hailing Hydra?! And will she have any connection at all to Hawkeye like her comic book counterpart? And let's not even get started with the crazyness that is happening over on the Walking Dead! After last week I may never want to eat BBQ ever again! Check out these previews! Read more...

Every kid grows up dreaming of being a superhero - The Flash flash logoLast week I watched The Flash wife my wife Jodi. I did it because I wanted to know if a devote non-comic book reading, non-superhero watching in any form small screen or big would like what the Flash offered. She didn't for the record. She said she didn't like more than what she did, but the end of the show was good enough to bring her back for another round. So Round two starts now. Warning: There are SPOILERS ahead. For the most part I have kept all big SPOILERS out of this review, but there are a couple.   Read more...

Hey, it's only the biggest show on TV, AND based on a hit comic book as well! Now that's a great use of BRAAAAAINNNNSS! This week we also have Detective Gordon dealing with a very unexpected visitor, Coulson and May dealing with laser grids and The Flash dealing with his chilly arch-nemesis! But let's face it...we all just want to see if Oliver and Felicity try to go on a second date!!! Read more...

To understand what you are about to see you need to believe in the impossible- The Flash flash logoI don't review much but comic books, it's a known fact. It's not that I don't do anything but read comics, I just don't review much else but them. So when I tasked myself for The Flash review I thought it best to have at least one other opinion than my own to see if I was just geeked or was it what I thought. The person who watched the show with me has no real interest in comic books. As a matter of fact she has never even read a super hero comic book in her life. She doesn't watch much TV either, unless it is Netflix where she can monitor what she sees without seeing the normal TV fare of the undressed, undead, or unfunny. She is my wife Jodi and I will be breaking down what a NON-TV, NON Comic Book reading person thought as well as my own opinion. Here we go. Read more...

flashy-the-leaked-flash-pilot-easter-eggs-guide-to-episode-1It's not a big secret anymore! Superheroes will rule this TV season, so we at ENR have now decided to preview each comic book related show this season from Gotham to Walking Dead with a cornucopia of promos, trailers and sneak peeks at the beginning of each week! We've had a great couple of weeks with Gotham and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. dazzling us with their awesomeness (can you say ABSORBING MAN?), but this week is a pretty big one, with CW finally debuting their shared DC Universe with Arrow Season 3 and Flash Season 1 getting their premieres! Here's a look at all four cape shows this week! Read more...

2562451-comic_tv_640There was a time when television was filled to the brim with superhero TV shows! From Superman, to Wonder Woman to Incredible Hulk to Batman, and even original superhero TV shows like The Greatest American Hero and the Six Million Dollar seemed like supers ruled the airwaves. Then...they all went away. For a decade and a half or so it seemed capes were banned from TV (with the exception of a few Superman series spattered here and there). Well, that has definitely changed. With the success of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (or at least the first episode) and the steady ratings of CW’s Arrow, it seems almost EVERY network has at least one superhero show debuting or returning and once again comics are going to rule television.
