Gotham-season-1-episode-8-The-Mask-6-860x442Here we are in our 8th straight week of superhero TV! And the fun just doesn't seem to stop! There's the absence of a Constantine clip this week (NBC just didn't release one for the show's 4th episode), but thankfully Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Flash are back to save Tuesdays (super spies and scarlet speedsters are much more entertaining than election coverage)! This week Black Mask makes his Gotham debut, The beautiful and dangerous Plastique explodes into Barry Allen's life and Darryl & Carol return to Walking Dead to kick some walker ass and take names (fun fact: whenever you ask a zombie's name, it almost always responds BRIANNNN)! Here's this week's wild and wacky previews! Read more...

arrow-logo-imgIn case you missed last time’s episode of the television series Arrow, let me give you a recap. The Arrow and company received a visit from Ra’s Al Ghul’s assassin daughter Nyssa, who came to Starling City to assassinate Malcolm Merlyn on allegations that he murdered Sara Lance (also known as “Canary”). As The Arrow was willing to protect Malcolm from Nyssa, Starling City police officer Laurel Lance’s desire for her to avenge Sara’s death resulted in Oliver’s half-sister Thea getting kidnapped by the assassin, but The Arrow succeeded in saving both Malcolm and Thea from death and vowed to prevent Ra’s Al Ghul’s league of assassins from laying their deadly hands on Malcolm. Now, time for me to comment on the 11/05/2014 Arrow episode “The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak” in this weekly Arrow edition.   Read more...

Victor_Zsasz_3It's a shortened week of superhero TV, as Flash and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will take the week off, but that doesn't mean there's any less awesomeness! It's the highly anticipated debut of the psychopathic Victor Zsaz on Gotham, we find out the secret origin of the cutie patootie Felicity Smoak on Arrow, and Papa Midnite finally makes an appearance on Constantine! Lots of new characters and revelations are in store, so set your DVRs! I don't think anyone can afford to miss this week's shows! Read more...

arrow-logo-imgHello, Green Arrow fans. In case some of you missed last time’s episode of the American television series Arrow (titled “Sara”), let me begin with a recollection of a few details you need to know on what happened. Basically, the previous episode saw Oliver Queen (a.k.a. “Arrow”) and company dealing with the Arrow-like costumed mass murderer Komodo while at the same time dealing with the tragic murder of Sara Lance (a.k.a. “Canary”) with the dead super-heroine’s sister Laurel turning into a bitter and revenge-hungry cop. However, the hunt for Sara’s killer was far from over as Komodo was not the killer himself. And, oh yeah, Oliver learned from Roy Harper that Thea, Oliver’s half-sister, left Starling City with her father Malcolm Merlyn right after Oliver’s last fight with Slade Wilson (a.k.a. “Deathstroke”). Now, we look at this week’s episode, “Corto Maltese”.

5446ce1dc7051The TV season is in full swing! And there has NEVER been more amazing superhero and comic book adapted TV shows! From Gotham to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to Arrow, we have just been bombarded with tons of heroes on TV. But there are probably some people out there looking for some great trades and graphic novels to pick up to enhance their TV watching experience (not to mention, catch all of those easter eggs that come up in every show! Oh, yes...there have been many!). Not to worry, The Bleeder King's gotcha covered. I've comprised a list of the most important trades from each show that you really should have on your shelf (if you don't already)! Let's get started on a fairly recent miniseries that shed a dark light on the early career of one of Batman's greatest foes. sound familiar?! Read more...
