Superhero TV Sneak Peek Spectacular! | FPB Papercut

Written by  Published May 16, 2014 11:04
Are you ready for the most super-tastic Fall season of all time in 2014? With Constantine, Agent Carter, Gotham and The Flash debuting in the 2014/2015 television season, as well as the existing comic book TV shows such as Walking Dead, Arrow and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returning...it's clear that comic book TV is in full force! So, just in case you've missed all of the great trailers that have been hitting the internets over the past week, we at ENR thought it would be cool to bring them all to you at once! Because we're awesome like that.

First up is CW's The Flash, which will be a direct spin-off of Arrow and centers around S.T.A.R. labs forensics scientist, Barry Allen and his pals Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow (both characters are better known to us as Vibe and Killer Frost) as he deals with his new found speed abilities and defends Central City.

Here are two awesome trailers for the scarlet speedster's new show, one featuring Barry and Ollie (Stephen Amell) in a friendly contest and one extended look at the show!

Next we have Constantine on NBC! Don't get this confused with the Keanu Reeves film though, this show will be taking it old school and straight from the pages of Hellblazer.

John will be blonde, british and in his signature brown trench, just how we like it!

Up next is Gotham over on Fox. Centering around Jim Gordon in his early career, this show will reveal the secret origins of Batman's greatest villains and allies, such as The Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and yes...even Joker (rumor has it).

If you missed our trailer for Gotham last week, here it is one more time! Enjoy!

DC isn't the only comic powerhouse with new shows this fall! Marvel this week announced that ABC will air Agent Carter, a spin-off of the Captain America movies and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that will star Hayley Atwell as Steve Rogers' lost love as she forms the super spy agency that will eventually become S.H.I.E.L.D. in the late 1940's.

This will be a great opportunity for Marvel to introduce more characters (Invaders, anyone?) and expand Marvel's Cinematic Universe by giving it a sense of history. And they can flesh out that whole Hydra business a whole lot more as well, right?

Since there isn't any Agent Carter footage yet, we've decided to instead present the Marvel One-Shot (short film) starring Peggy that was featured on the Iron Man 3 blu-ray. It should give everyone an idea of what to expect in the show!

Keep watching at least to mid-credits, Marvelites!

It's hard to tell is all of these shows will become hits, but we can be sure that comic fans everywhere will definitely put their DVRs to good use this coming TV season!

Stay tuned to ENR for more teasers and trailers for these and more upcoming TV shows!
