2791937-994719_dc_universe_online_lex_luthor_power_armor_superDo you guys remember the opening cinematic from DC Universe Online? Course you do. You know the one I mean, set in the near future, the Justice League are fighting for their lives against a super villain team-up like never before. Forget the Legion of Doom; this is Justice League: Doomed! As Green Lantern faces off against an enraged Black Adam, Batman takes on Deathstroke – much to the chagrin of the Joker – while Lex Luthor, in incredible looking, enhanced Power Armour lords over the carnage. The cliff-hanger that leads into the game left us all with our chins firmly planted on the floor. Many of us wanted to see this for real. Was this the Justice League movie that never was? Well, Adam Jay of Superhero Creations, wants to bring that dream to life.  Read more...

Batman: Arkham Origins, The Dark Knight will be hunted down by the DCU's most ruthless mercenaries like Bane, Deadshot and Deathstroke in an adventure that takes place very early in his career. Black Mask's organization has been crumbling underneath the boot of this mysterious vigilante dressed as a bat and he will attempt to nip this problem in the bud. Attempt is the key word. Flashpoint-Paradox-first-image-fixJust before DC Comics unleashed the New 52, they put together an one last mega-event for the DC Universe that many of us grew up with. It was called Flashpoint, and it featured the newly returned Barry Allen trapped in an alternate universe created by Reverse Flash where his mother was very much alive and he was not The Flash anymore. That wasn't even the shocking part of the Flashpoint universe, pretty much all of the DC heroes from Batman to Cyborg were drastically changed. Read more...

batman-arkham-origins-deathstrokeWe are going to definitely have a great holiday season, which is ironic because the reason for that is because we are all going to be experiencing Batman's worst Christmas Eve ever. In Batman: Arkham Origins, the prequel to the hit games Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, we are told a story of a period early in Batman's career where the criminal mastermind Black Mask puts a price on The Dark Knight's head, and assassins from all over the DC Universe are coming to Gotham City to collect!!   Read more...

BatmanArkhamOriginsFirst the Dark Knight Detective ventured into the depths of Arkham to face his most dangerous foes, then he faced Hugo Strange and finally defeated The Joker in a climactic battle as the streets of Gotham became a prison colony. Now, Batman must revisit the beginning as he goes head to head with some of the most dangerous hitmen in the DCU in Batman: Arkham Origins. Arkham Origins will look into Batman's past and takes place years before the Arkham Asylum video game. The prequel will take place in the middle of winter and Bats will have to go head-to-head with Black Mask, Alberto Falcone, Deathstroke, The Penguin and most likely a few other infamous members of his Rogue's Gallery, as a price has been put on his head and many assassins will be hunting him down. sanXuary | Sometimes the best memories can be triggered by new experiences and from new mediums, for instance what recently transpired in my own comic reading adventures. I am to my most pleasant surprise, really starting to like Comixology. Unfortunately, I think that they are going to be getting a lot of my money. I was browsing through the Teen Titans section and could not believe that they had the entire run of the Wolfman-Perez run from the 80’s. I ended up buying the Titans' Hunt story that ran in New Teen Titans #71-84 and a Secret Files issue from the larger  legendary New Teen Titans run from 1984-1996. Read more...

Shuffle Track #25 3P in 3D (sort of). If you haven’t noticed, I have a little obsession with alliteration. Try as I might, nothing makes me merrier than the mere thought of matching morphemes (see what I did there). This week, I felt like doing something in the key of D (it may be the fourth letter of the alphabet, but it’s still number one in my book…especially if you double it, wink). This week’s offering includes DISCORD GN, (ZOMBIE) DICKHEADS, and DEATHSTROKE #9. Okay, so Zombie Dickheads doesn’t exactly fit the bill, but nevertheless, it is here (so deal with it). In any case,  YOU’RE IN THE MIXX! Read more...
