crossgenlogoThere are times when something great is just right under your nose and you have no idea. Hopefully it’s not a delicious cranberry scone because that would mean your sense of smell has gone. Sometimes it’s a gift that someone has given you and you’re just not sure about using it, but when you do you can’t believe you hadn’t used it sooner. Sometimes it’s a movie that you’re sure isn’t going to be any good so you wait until it’s available on DVD, then you’re kicking yourself for not going to the theatre to see it. A lot of people pass up on great comics because they’re afraid to try them. If it doesn’t bare the label DC, Marvel or Image, etc. it can sometimes feel like a gamble to pick up a new book.  Crossgen was a publisher that brought great titles like, “Sigil”, “Mystic” and “Meridian”.  Most of their titles were of the sci-fi and fantasy genre, but good nonetheless. prv_ageofultron9-290x290Previously in Age of Ultron: Wolverine vs. Wolverine!!! Sort of! Not at all, really!

Seeing as how the future without Hank Pym butterfly effected into Iron Man becoming basically Darth Vader, Logan decides to jump back in time AGAIN and stop his own dumb ass from killing Pym.

Which worked somehow without too much struggle. For no reason whatsoever Wolverine finds his original costume and is able to convince himself (with the help of Invisible M.I.L.F. Sue Storm, which would be enough to convince me to do absolutely anything), to un-snikt his claws and call off the assassination.

BUT!!! The trick was to convince Past-Pym to create his evil monstrosity, Ultron, just as he normally would to keep everything on track. But with one distinct fail safe in his programming. We are not told in ish #9 what it is just yet. Okay, we are NEVER really told. Pym must also erase all memory from this ever happening. Well, okay then.

MARVEL LOGOIt all comes down to this!

Is it the end of Ultron or the Marvel Universe as we know it?

One thing for sure we are going to find out tomorrow!

This has been an interesting series to follow and seemed much more of a set up series than an actual crossover event.

It has had it’s surprises though and they have all been covered by our own Dave “Bleeder King” Michaels!

Like every issue Dave will be having an in-depth review of this tomorrow night so stay tuned!

Check out the press release and picture below and tell us what you think!

CCO Joe Quesada gave us a glimpse a couple weeks ago of his redesined Angela, this week we get to see the full wrap around cover!

Check out Joe Quesada’s variant cover and the press release for Age of Ultron #10!
